Video depositions are one of the most powerful — and most underused — tools in a litigator's arsenal. Most attorneys order video and let it sit. The ones winning at trial know how to put it to work.
Join attorney and law professor Joe Stephens for a practical look at how to get maximum strategic value from your deposition video, from the moment you schedule the depo to the moment you play a clip in front of a jury.
Joe will cover the strategic case for ordering video on every significant deposition, then dive into a live demonstration of how Steno's Text-to-Video Sync and Clip Cutting tools inside Transcript Genius make the entire workflow faster, simpler, and more effective.
You’ll gain a clear understanding of:
- Why video depositions are worth ordering — and when they can change the outcome of a case
- How to use deposition clips for testimony in lieu of a live witness
- How Text-to-Video Sync lets you navigate hours of testimony in seconds, right inside Transcript Genius
- How to cut, trim, caption, and export trial-ready clips without extra software or added cost
- A practical framework for building your clip library from depo day through closing argument
